I read an opinion piece recently that claimed that “the Jews” (conflating religion with nationality) should actually not be expected to show restraint or even acknowledge that what is being done is beyond the pale. It’s apparently (to the author) so important to preserve “the Jews” (again conflating religion with nationality) that a mere ten thousand dead babies is acceptable.
