There are some downsides to this hotel although not many. Firstly the beds are for giants. So every time I want to get into bed I kind of have to do this gymnast kind of running leap... only it's more like a wobble and flop. And when I sit on the edge of the bed my feet don't touch the ground. So annoying! Also no fridges in the room so I am making trips to the ice machine to keep Phee's food fresh. The nice man helped me get some when I got here earlier but I wanted to learn to do it myself so armed with directions I went off and actually it was Phee who pointed out where the room was. Blind people who can hear can locate the machine by sound but I have to just wander around and touch everything, but again Phoenix went right to it and pointed at it with her nose. This is the benefit of a well travelled service dog. She *knows* Then once we got the ice situation sorted for now, we went out and had a bit of a romp in the very muddy dog park. Basically I closed the gate and let her off leash to do her business because I was afraid I was going to fall. I had been using the area but leash relieving her but it is fully fenced so I'm taking advantage for as long as it's raining. Anyway we're backs in the room, waiting for dinner. Phoenix is having some dehydrated tripe stick for a snack.
