Brazil's tyrannical judge, Alexandre de Moraes, just voted to imprison Jair Bolsonaro's son Eduardo -- a São Paulo Congressman -- for one year, due to a tweet where Eduardo accused Congresswoman Tabata Amaral (npub13ge…qcpp) (Brazil's neoliberal AOC) of sponsoring a bill to benefit a campaign donor. Moraes concluded this was criminal defamation and merits prison.
Earlier this week, Moraes opened a criminal investigation into a tweet from Bolonaro's other son -- Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro, currently tied with or leading Lula for the presidential race in October -- to determine a tweet of his was criminally defamatory, which could in theory result in Flavio Bolsonaro's banishment from the ballot at a time when he is surging against Lula.
Brazil is the second largest country in the hemisphere after the US, and the world's sixth most populous contry.
