I don't think there's any real question that Russia is supporting political actors whose goals align with theirs. That's what the US and plenty of other countries do as well.

But speaking as a historian who's studied fascism, some of the stuff people are saying with the Yandex strike is absolutely wild.

The rise of fascism in the West is not "fake". It is not run by some Russian bot swarm, and it's ludicrous to pretend that the far right would vanish if we blew up enough Russian data centers.
