What is it with my family? Last November on the second last day of our holiday in South Africa, a family member contacted us via a third party to say they would be in the Cape and could we meet, which would have meant rearranging travel plans and instead embarking on a 300km journey. Now another family member says they'll be in Edinburgh tomorrow and can we meet. That's a 7 hour journey for us, and we have other commitments this week. Yet we're pretty sure this'll be our fault for not trying. 😔
