an unnamed college that it trying to get my (artist) older child to attend sent a brochure touting an honors program. part of it featured the fun of being able to use generative AI to make a picture of the mascot crying over their organic chemistry textbook. the combination of AI art that maligns organic (what I teach) may have dropped that school off the list
