Podcasters per Share 🎙️

Matt Cole sometimes jokes that Strive
needs to keep growing this number.

But beneath the joke,
there are logical reasons to care about this metric.

In an emerging industry, it makes sense
to spend serious time educating the market.

The more novel the product,
the more important that becomes.

Bitcoiners know how difficult it can be to get someone to even understand Bitcoin's value proposition.

A company built on top of Bitcoin adds another layer of abstraction, making the entire structure even harder to understand.

The product itself is compelling. No doubt.

13% yield.
Daily dividends.
Minimal volatility.

Compare that with the TradFi products out there.
SATA, and similarly STRC, are extremely competitive.

The challenge is therefore largely pedagogical,
and it certainly isn't a small one.

Bitcoin already faces strong headwinds from false narratives, misunderstandings and arguments that lack important nuance.

Unfortunately, Digital Credit has already faced some of the same problems. “Death spirals” have already been forecast, often with very little basis.

That makes education even more important.

Saylor understood this early and acted accordingly.

He may be one of the people who has taught the most people about Bitcoin over the past several years. More recently, he has done the same with Digital Credit.

Now Strive is doing many of the same things,
and in some respects, arguably taking it even further.

They explain the strategy.
They explain the capital structure.
They explain what shareholders actually own and what the securities are designed to do.

The level of presence and transparency is very high.

Education reduces friction.
It helps investors make better decisions.
It creates familiarity with products that initially look complicated.

And over time, it builds trust.

A Bitcoin treasury company is partly competing on how clearly it can communicate what it is doing and why.

The companies that communicate this most effectively have a clear competitive advantage over other treasury companies.

Especially at this early stage of the industry.

There is value in management showing up repeatedly.

Doing podcasts.
Answering questions.
Explaining the numbers.
Helping people understand what they are buying.

In a new category,
education is part of the value proposition.
