This is great stuff. I'll add another use. I'm a fishing kayaker. I put a depth finder on mine. Instead of mounting it outside of the kayak it's in the bottom of the keel shooting through the plastic hull held down by a big chunk of that duct seal.
It's been down there in the wet environment of the inside of the kayak for like 3-4 years now. No signs of letting loose or problems.
