I’m honoured to have the support of four outstanding municipal leaders who have shown us what real, tangible community building looks like.

Elisabeth Arnold, Krysta-Lee Woodcock, Susan Kim, and Pietro Calendino represent rural, suburban, and urban communities across the country. What unites them is a deep commitment to building the social and physical infrastructure that creates healthier, more connected communities.

Municipal leaders like these four do the hard, day-to-day work of strengthening communities while navigating immense constraints. Seeing what they’ve accomplished for their neighbours makes me excited about what’s possible with a federal NDP that supports local democracy and the critical needs of municipalities and their residents.

I’m deeply grateful for their support.
