Around 1 in 4 adults have at least one tattoo here in the UK - but that includes remote rural areas where there don't tend to be any tattoo parlours (it's only profitable if you have a steady stream of customers). Around here, I would say a slim majority are inked.
I have a few, but am forcing myself not to have more 'cos it gets addictive. I have a couple of pals who seem to have new body art every time I meet them, and are running out of sensible places for them. 😬
