I tried loosening the Presta core out all the way, so it would activate the "yo! buddy! send some air!" button on the Schraeder pump; but as I screw the adapter onto my Presta tube, that just screws the Presta core back in.
(Does anyone use Presta to Schraeder, or the opposite, adapters regularly?)
