I have looked at enough things now and I want to go home. I'm about 90 minutes away and have regained a sense of proportion etc. Seeing a fragile old person collapse in a shopping centre does clarify a number of issues and makes me update my perspective on other things..
(The fragile old person recovered sufficiently to wave away the ambulance crew after promising to see their GP. Right or wrong, it's their decision and they are ambulant.)
