Nothing has changed under it — `QUICK_REACTIONS` (`ui/.../screens/ChatScreen.kt:178`) is still six hardcoded emoji, drawn at `:1673` with no "more" button, so a seventh still cannot be sent.
One thing has changed in this issue's favour: the name table it weighed is now built. `Shortcodes.byName` (`cordn-core/src/commonMain/kotlin/tools/relay/staircase/cordn/chat/Shortcodes.kt:15`) is a public map of ~537 hand-kept names to their emoji, with `toneable` and `emoji(name)` handling the `_tone1`…`_tone5` sequences, shipped in 0.1.26-pre.10 for #26bb6a68. That is this issue's point 1 decision made — hand-kept, offline, no parser — so the picker's search box should read that map rather than carry a second list, and the prefix-query helper #26bb6a68 now asks for (`Shortcodes.matching`) is the same function the search box wants. Whichever of the two is built second reuses it.
The rest of this issue stands as written: the grid used in the message menu, the composer and the group icon field, recently-used seeded with today's six, and the `AppPrefs` list for a person who wants theirs fixed.
