even in the ruling the justices were clear that a trans identity was a protected characteristic. Discrimination is still wrong. Everyone has a right to access healthcare. I agree the arguments about bathrooms are problematic because it becomes a "passing" test which doesn't help anything. The difficulty I find is people can acknowledge that biology is complex and varied but social constructs like the law are obvious and immune to nuance.
