I did the same when I moved from my primary e-mail of 22 years, except I had to do it in about three months since it was on a university domain who decided to no longer allow private e-mail.
I made a list of all accounts I have, mostly based on my password manager, and went to work. Most you can change directly, some require an e-mail to customer service. Some maybe you can just close down. I had literally several hundred accounts but I got there in the end.
