Discussions about "tolerance" remind me of an exchange between a couple of characters in Heinlein's "Moon is a Harsh Mistress":
Wyoh: You call yourself a Rational Anarchist. You mean you don't believe in any laws?
Prof: Tell me which law, and I will tell you whether I will obey it.
Likewise, tell me what you want me to be tolerant of, and I'll tell you whether I will. Tolerance as a blanket virtue is nonsense.
