Good news for science-fiction fans (possibly the whole of the fediverse): Ryan Coogler, director of "Fruitvale Station," "Creed," the "Black Panther" movies and most recently, "Sinners," is working on an "X-Files" reboot. This was first reported a couple of years ago; Coogler says he's now spoken to Gillian Anderson. "We're going to try to make something really great, bro, and make something for the real 'X-Files' fans and maybe find some new ones," he told the team at Last Podcast on the Left. Here's more from @variety.com. What do you think about the idea?
