Norcal Gma 2 on Nostr: I remember the first time I saw a glass elevator. It was one of my first work trips ...
I remember the first time I saw a glass elevator. It was one of my first work trips to San Francisco. Even though I am uncomfortable with heights to the point it is hard to look up at high buildings I really wanted to ride that elevator to the top. Convinced that the view from the top would be worth the queasy. The same with ski lifts, high mountain trails and flying in a small aircraft.
My point is that the last week feels like the sky high ups and downs of dealing with the scary and uncomfortable for a purpose.
I sometimes feel way outside of my comfort zone navigating all of the major decisions for the three of us.
What if I get something wrong?
What if I'm not advocating hard enough?
I have to keep trying because that's all I can do.
Just like I kept trying to grow the hugest dahlia.
I persisted and was reminded I can do big things even if I haven't done them before.
Deadheaded this morning I was sad to see goodbye to this beautiful colossal flower.
