3/ Approaching Kearsarge pass I was following fresh footsteps. While on the pass, a dozen or so PCT thru-hikers with cold feet wearing requisite shorts and sneakers congregated looking into the untracked interior with trepidation wondering if they'd re-entered too soon. It was fun to put on my knee high snow gaiters over my snow boots and stomp the trail in for them all the way down to JMT and past Bullfrog and Charlotte lake to the base of Glen pass 🙌
