Sorry, but there are no excuses left for hardware manufacturers. They just don't care about customer data. They keep using 3rd party services loosing their data, keep fucking up themselves and loosing data, keep bad practices and loosing data.

They are lazy and careless. I can't buy or recommend anyone else to buy online anymore. They fucked it up themselves. They seem to not grok the extend of potential harm caused by them loosing customer data.

Imagine how valuable the data is after Bitcoin does another 10x. How many will still live in the houses they are today. How many will fear to get wrench attacked any day? Total nightmare.

After ensuring there is enough entropy you had one job, don't loose your customers data.

Yes, AI is hacking everything right now but loosing years old data that should not exist anymore is on you.

All Bitcoin businesses should make that their priority. Don't collect data you don't need and if you need it, delete it asap and make sure it does not get leaked. Avoid any 3rd party service processing customer data unless unavoidable. And no, sending out emails on your own infrastructure is not impossible, no excuses.
