Literally dozens of Canadians have contacted me about Alto Highspeed Rail, presenting it as some kind of "gotcha" that I'm wrong about Canada.
The project that isn't fully costed, isn't due to start construction until 2029 or 2030, isn't due to complete until 2041-2044 ... and the federal Conservatives have already said they'll cancel if re-elected.
Nevermind the fact that Ontario has been promising and planning high-speed rail since 1984.
I'm sorry it hurts to hear the truth. 🙄
