20+ years ago we had perfectly usable WYSIWYG GUI designers integrated into a good IDE (Delphi) and in the last decade and more, everyone downgraded to building UIs with piles of slow JS libraries and no good IDE integration to make CSS GUI design less annoying. The only remnants of that better era are QtDesigner and Lazarus.
