When I see a btinternet.com email address, I assume it's a small company that's been around since that was normal and hasn't bothered to change it. Possibly good at their actual job, but probably best to phone them.

A gmail address suggests someone who is a little more clued up on internet things (perhaps younger) and will probably read their email.

The real WTF is a hotmail.com address.
