I didn't interpret you as being derogatory. The point is that these fixes should be relatively stable because I am trying to factor in a broader set of possibilities and edge cases. This was where LLMs helped a lot, because I was able to theorize edge cases I couldn't test, and expand the patches by adopting a more anticipatory posture.
As for legal, without taking a stance either way I have only heard good things so far about my work. But this is something I am completely unafraid of. I was targeted by a hostile US actor for my work last year and fought that off.
