i don't like AI art, it has a very wrong feeling. interestingly, there are videos from the beginnings of the current AI wave which look very lovecraftian.

i don't get how people can take it serious for these uses. especially misguided in my opinion are "spiritual" people using it for their blogs etc. instead of just spending some money on a real artist or doing it themselves.

some memes made with AI are funny. that's because the IDEA of the meme is funny, and the idea is something a person came up with. memes are ephemeral though.
