If you use SiriusXM, they play pricing games. You have to call to cancel a full-price subscription, during which they quickly offer something like $10/month to get you to stay.
BUT, they'll do better, and it's silly you have to counter-offfer. For years I've paid $5.99/month for the all-channel, car and Internet access. I just say I want that again, and they say yes immediately.
I set a calendar reminder to call them once a year before they auto-renew at full price.
