Even if we had a LOT of issues, our "first" show yesterday night was something!
It was so good to perform in front of people singing, dancing, laughing and being really supportive towards the technical issues we faced.
I know I should have seen it coming at some point, but… I was absolutely NOT prepared to have **so many** cameras pointed at me! I'll have to work on that, let go and accept that my face is on the internet somewhere and I have no control over it. Okay.
I was so fucking tired and my broken voice cracked so many times, even before the actual show. I didn't think I would make it all the way to the end, because I had no feedback of my voice in my monitors for almost the whole thing. That was a fucking challenge, I'm telling you. I tried to remove my IEM but then, the drummer behind me was so… full of enthusiasm… ahem. Most people said they saw/heard nothing wrong, two or three noticed but were really kind with me, showed empathy for how hard it must have been.
Nonetheless, people enjoyed it a lot. Three friends came to share this special moment with me and I was really moved to see them in here, enjoying the music.
Now I just CAN'T wait for the next gig because I know for a fact we'll be even better and we'll enjoy it so much!
