RT: @LukeAlsford EXCLUSIVE: Powerful Labour unions will boycott the party’s women’s conference this year in protest at the ban on trans women.
Unison, Aslef, Usdaw and the Musicians Union will not attend Labour Women’s Conference in September over the exclusion of trans women from formal business at the event.
The unions are among Labour’s largest financial backers and say the all-women event in Liverpool breaches their policies on trans inclusion.
