Princess Nettles Succubish (npub1f7r…cfnk) you're probably right. Tech bros, even the anti-fascist variety, have a hard time reaching out to people who aren't like them. I was just talking about this in a different thread, but if us tech guy's unique skills are so useful, and if we are really interested in becoming more communitarian, we would offer our apps to more people in our communities.
We just have to be clear about how we communicate, that our apps aren't going to have the same level of quality or reliability as something from Google or Amazon or Apple, and we can't provide tech support all the time. It is something we do for fun, and maybe to provide something we can use together with our friends. So as long as no one comes us demanding customer service when it isn't working right, we'd be happy to share.
Then we might get more creative non-tech people involved, which would be benefit to everyone.
