I find it somewhere between cute and infuriating when academics working around edtech and other edtech folks who didn't care about -- and dismissed and downplayed -- privacy in edtech and tech are now suddenly clued in that privacy is critically important.
Where were you 5 years ago? 10?
I mean, better late than never, but/and if you want to be taken seriously acknowledge your past negligence -; and, more importantly -- listen to and amplify the people who have been here all along.
