I supported the transcanada pipeline (TCP) that Alberta cancelled to instead give feedstock to Texas, so I still support Ab crude direct to Ontario refineries instead of via Chicago. (ON is the birthplace of Canadian oil, not AB). Not sold on a pipeline because it takes so long to build, but if they choose pioeline then they could likely half the construction time and costs if tankers are used across the Great Lakes. If tankers can transit endangered orca habitat in BC...

I'd prefer a fleet of electric tanker trucks that pay for highway maintenance.
