It all started when feminists got a series of laws passed which use the State which disincentivized men from marrying women such as no-fault divorce, alimony, child support, as well as DEI entitlements for women such as VAWA and biased family courts.
Only now are we seeing the long-term consequences of the aforementioned laws through people like Andrew Tate taking advantage of the situation and platforms like OnlyFans popularizing porn amongst the younger generations. The consequences? A skyrocketing of degeneracy, rise in divorce rates, declining birth rates, and both genders being harmed in different ways. Men are harmed by being unable to have families, while women are harmed by literal pump-and-dumps.

Acknowledging the problem is the first step to solving it.
If men cannot get jobs, but women won't "date down" in salary, then of course the birth rate will continue to collapse.
Calling men "incels" or "losers" for pointing this kind of stuff out... Or giving hollow "bootstraps" arguments to the men that have noticed the pattern does NOT solve the problem for either sex.
