Every time information becomes more readily available to people, the oppressors have to work even harder. Every time we have new opportunities to communicate with each other, they have to double their efforts to keep us from hearing each other.

Whether it's the printing press or the Internet, when people can hear more from each other, the oppressors have to try to shout us down. They can't allow free communication because people ARE capable of learning & it threatens their power.
