"content": "A rare #work post from me, in the theme of #GetFediHired â with the caveat it is #Cambridge (UK) based, just outta town, in a beautiful spot in Comberton (4 days in office, Wednesday WfH and an annual allocation of ad-hoc WfH days.)\n\nOur core work is #Python ( #django ) with #Typescript ( #solidjs ) at the front end, there's some #Rust floating about too (but it's not a big part of things).\n\n#Job roles in #software, #physiotherapy, regulatory, and more : Flok Health Jobs\n\nNews: $12.5m Series A funding round\n\nAnd for the Fedi audience: It says AI a lot, which has its uses... our core tech is not GenAI and isn't burning the planet down any more than tech in general. Our stuff just runs on a normal server, no GPUs!\n\nAs devs here we are under no pressure to use GenAI tools... though the option is there, with very careful safeguarding. (At core we have a regulated medical device, we do not play \"vibe coding\" games with this stuff.)\n\nhttps://toot.ale.gd/system/media_attachments/files/116/686/363/392/275/021/original/1a1c24f8f88a370d.jpg\nhttps://toot.ale.gd/system/media_attachments/files/116/686/363/541/976/412/original/c08903e5156351d5.jpg",
