We have "decent" medical insurance.
We are drowning in medical debt, despite it. Our insurance does not pay nearly enough of our bills. My husband spends far too much of his time arranging payment plans.
The health system of the United States is corrupt and disgusting, and is not what a civilized country would tolerate. Anyone who thinks everything is fine is either too healthy to have been victimized, or is profiting off of other people's pain and death.
