Disclosure Day might be my favorite movie of the year. This was the perfect year for a movie like this to be released. Having experienced all the Pursuit drops and content surrounding them definitely made the film hit harder for me. Some plot points dragged it down for me, like the religious aspects of the story. I always find stuff like that negative when I just want it to be about the science. However, even considering how religious people would react to the idea of alien life didn't bother me as much as it normally would.
Again, Perfect release window for a movie like this.
