How thick of a bed of shavings should I be aiming for ultimately? I do vermicomposting so im relatively aware of how much thickness is needed to cover rotting food smell, but idk how that translates to chicken poop. Also, is there any permaculture type things I ca do with the waste?
And how bad is it really once the smell is contained. Would i be able to entertain normie guests on the deck above without them wanting to get out of the "barn"?
