For me, when I do those sorts of things for my wife, it's probably about 50/50 between getting to see her eyes light up with excitement, and getting a comment that's something to the effect of "I hope you're going to put this all away" as if she hadn't just been complaining about something and as if I built some whole contraption for my own sake, which may be partially true but... 😂
