If you don't understand the lethargic way Ukrainians (and Europeans, overall) have responded to Trump's latest deals with Putin, it's because he's been doing this stuff the whole damn time and steadily wearing down the emotional, financial, and martial impact of it. He's mostly just irritating everyone and reminding us that he's probably placing bets about it on Polymarket or that one of his nepobabies is getting a great deal on copper in Aserbaidschan or something.
We're just waiting for him to announce that he's marrying his horse, at this point.
