Finished crochet flower phone strap
I finally found a use for all that embroidery floss I have (forgotten friendship bracelet obsession..for the record, I don't think I ever gave one to a friend)
I liked making this, but I've kinda run out of phones to make them for so... xD
More backstory:
I got the idea for this from my cousin, who has a commercial one on her phone. Her reasoning is interesting: 'Mostly for decoration/ personalization. But when in crowded places, it gives a little bit of security...'
Uncle's reply: 'Yeah, instead of just taking your phone, they take your whole hand along with it.'
Personally, I like being able to carry my phone around the house while keeping my hands free (in a no-pocket scenario...)
Plus potential fall prevention...
Some bags have little carabiner things inside 🤔
Well, it's still among the most useful of my creations, I struggle to imagine something 'as cool' I could make
Though the design for the flowers came from a more complex flower keychain pattern, perhaps I could just make a bunch of those xD
