It all depends on what you're trying to do
My problem is I never had any good animation ideas so I never went very far with these kinds of programs. Tahoma2d and the like are built on a program used by Studio Ghibli for animation, so you have an idea for what it can do. I mostly just do any animating I need to do in Krita 🤷♂️
