Good Evening ✨
Am I the only one that feels bad about telling a restaurant their food is terrible?
Indian waiter: how was your food ma'am?
me: fine. I'll take the check.
waiter: do you want a box? you didn't eat much? did you like it?
me: I'm good. everything fine .
They are a family owned restaurant that i haven't been to in a while. So I'm not sure if ownership or chef has changed, ... and i never want to be impolite but...
How can an Indian restaurant mess up chai, dal and rice? 👇
start by watering down the chai and adding copius amounts of fresh ginger to the point where it tastes like ginger tea with a splash of milk.
garnish the dal with chopped cilantro that looks like it was salvaged from a compost pile, drown it in salt as if the salt and chilies are in a competition.
add so much salt to the basmati rice that the customer leaves with a headache and dry mouth
👌
