GM. On 19 October, I published an article in German about “the maze of setting up my own LN address”, in which I admitted that I had not yet succeeded in the process.
Today, that has changed, along with my circumstances. After hours of learning and hard work — including a bit of car mechanics 💪🏽—, I have finally achieved what I set out to do: a personalised, self-custodial LN address on BOLT12.
This setup offers greater scope for interaction within the Nostr protocol, as well as other useful features. ⚡
I have also drawn up an executive summary of the entire process.
