General Qs about Gen Chem lab: Do you introduce stoichiometry in lab?
Block says they introduce moles in lecture (without reactions). Says "students don't like to learn new things in lab" (where "things" = "lecture" concepts). This statement got quite a few knowing laughs
I can attest to the truth of that statement. So many times I have heard students say, "But we haven't learned this yet!" as if lab isn't also a space for learning!
