An image just came into my mind about the huge efforts to extinguish the raging fires everywhere. Seeing the planes and the firefighters, some of whom lost their lives... it's horrible. We know that 99% of us humans are not responsible for this.
But fighting the destruction is like attacking King Kong, he just swats them away like flies. We don't have the power to quell the fires quickly, causing huge damage and loss of lives.
