Way back when Bush and Cheney first came into office, they purposely privatized the entire defense industry. Like literally overnight, they outsourced as much as they possibly could and gave contracts to as many GOP donors as possible. And there was some outcry, but the outcry was mostly about "can these companies keep Da Troops supplied?"
