I tend to forget how flat everywhere else is. XD

Wisconsin really is a beautiful state in all four seasons assuming you're not cleaning up after it. We have lakes, hills, forests with trees that turn colors in fall, and snow in the winter. We're the only place in the world that gets snake fog, where the fog rises off the rivers. We have stuff like Rib Mountain and Roche a Cri for geological features, the latter of which is named after the way the wind howls through it. We have the Cave of the Mounds, which is worth a visit to see Polly, a stalagmite shaped like a parrot that glows in the dark. We have icons like The Domes in Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Art Museum, which has a feature that opens like sails on calmer days. Early birds can watch them unfold. We have a couple iconic giant fiberglass animals. We have House on the Rock, which is surreal.

*Superhero League of Wausau* is my way of celebrating all that.
