Yelling at a politician is a fucking low effort, relatively safe way to blow off steam.
I think a lot of us want to do it just as a fun activity. I don't consider it activism. I just want to go yell at a politician because I'm fucking mad & need to scream at someone who deserves to be screamed at.
No politician wants to be at the center of that.
