My Dear Sister LibertyGal (nprofileβ¦qp8l),
Thanks so much for noticing and commenting on the C.S. Lewis quote in my recent post.ππ»π
You've blessed me once again today with this beautiful article.π«πππ
There's a very sad reason so few churches truly help us poor, wandering sheeple in the present day... I've known this intuitively since I was a teenager, and your article has beautifully expressed the ANTIDOTE for this deadly malady...
It's been clear to me for most of my life that MOST "churches" are SEVERELY lacking in fellowship, instead substituting what I think of as PERFORMANCES patterned after worldly institutions.π’ As you've so capably pointed out, we need to--we MUST--spend more time with one another, encouraging and building one another up, stimulating each other "to love and good works."π«ππ
Thank Jesus, I recently encountered a brother online who has been able to clearly articulate what has gone wrong with "the church" in this realm:

I pray what you learn from Tom will immensely bless you (AND anyone else who reads your beautiful article) about our wonderful relationship with one another as children and heirs of our mutual Father God, after whom "the whole tribe in the heavens and on earth have been named." (Ephesians 3:14-15)
I am SO glad to be a member of that family tribe, and thus able to count you as my sister.π«πππ₯π―ππ»
