The roller coaster of our lives seems to be on the upswing again. After a dismal couple of months good fortune smiled on us today.
Yesterday my husband went off to San Francisco with our middle grandson while I stayed home to deal with our water. He spent almost five hours at the VA hospital. After a successful mohs surgery he has no more cancer wrecking his right ear.
Summer isn't quite sure why he has a giant bandage but knows to be very careful when they play.
Today brought other good news and a wonderful experience delivering donations. Now I need to work on getting warm jackets for the Raven Project young people before the weather changes. The problem is that they probably don't want old people jackets. I might need to consult with the grandkids.
I told Summer that we were due for a day like today as we stood our sunset vigil.
Who knows tomorrow might be even better.
